Job Location:            35 West Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601 and various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.

Job Type:                    Full Time

Duties: Design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. Innovate, plan and direct variety of client assignments. Manage design component of projects, partner with account, copy and production. Work on multiple projects, in various stages of the process, at any given time. Apply marketing tactics appropriate to client objectives and develop work that fulfills the strategy and goals. Present and sell creative solutions to clients. Participate with creative team to develop relevant project strategies and assignment parameters. Generate a range of ideas and designs to solve client’s marketing problems. Accomplish this through personal efforts and by effectively managing broad project parameters, less experienced team members, and outside freelancers. Prepare design solutions for internal and external presentations. Participate in production process to ensure integrity of final product (print, video or digital production). Develop tools and recommendations to improve current processes that impact client deliverables. Oversee the pre-production process, working with electronic production to ensure integrity of files. Understand client brand & business objectives and translates into a compelling concept. Expand client experience permits incumbent to develop a range of options to client problems while continuing to develop knowledge and understanding of the client’s business and its competition.

Qualifications

Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field and by 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:

  1. Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat)
  2. Keynote, Powerpoint for presentations
  3. Getty Digital Asset Management
  4. Procreate
  5. Mac Computer, iPad, iPhone
  6. Box Cloud Content Management
  7. Smartsheets
  8. Concepting
  9. Typography
  10. 3D/2D Design
  11. UI Design
  12. Basic Illustration
  13. Logo Design
  14. Motion Storyboarding
  15. Branding
  16. Color Theory
  17. Photo Editing

Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
