Job Description

Calling all coffee lovers and donut diehards that also happen to be exceptional writers!

This is your shot to create work for one of America’s most iconic brands. It is a fast-paced environment with lots of opportunities to develop work that a lot of creatives only dream of.


Our team oversees, concepts, and creates the Vis ID that gets picked up by all other partner agencies to use in their channels for each promotional window of the year. We execute everything surrounding the restaurant experience from printed POP, and digital assets for our menu boards, as well as the menu experience itself. Recently we have also led the design of packaging as it changes during the year.


We’re looking for someone who can help bring Dunkin’s unique point of view and voice to life through language at point of sale. In addition to writing tons of creative headlines we want a writer who can bring bigger, thematic, and conceptual retail activations to life. We work at a fast pace so being organized and punctual is important. Experience working in the QSR space is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities will include the following:

-        Concept themes for national promotions and develop copy to support those themes that are strategic and on brand.

-        Develop headlines that make beverage and food sound modern and craveable within the fun tone of the Dunkin’ voice

-        Actively partner with art directors to ensure that design and copy are working together across the customer journey

-        Actively participates in client brainstorming sessions to develop unexpected, original, and innovative ideas.

-        Develops and maintains a working knowledge of client’s business, industry, and marketing needs.

-        Ensure that internal deadlines, timetables, and approval procedures are adhered to for assigned projects and manages workflow.

-        Organize copy decks for both English and Bilingual programs

-        Present and sell work to clients



·        A degree or portfolio school diploma in English, journalism, communications, or a related field

·        3+ years’ experience as an advertising or marketing copywriter or working internships that equate

·        Must have online portfolio or PDF representing campaign ideas or executions, strategic conceptual ideation, attention to detail and a variety in voice and writing style

·        A solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles

·        Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail and grammar

·        Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different writing demands

·        Ear to the ground when it comes to pop culture and emerging trends/technologies
