Job Description

We’re looking for an outstanding Vice President, Account Director who’ll lead the team in driving client relationships and growth. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing high-level strategic plans, effectively utilizing cross functional teams, and influencing senior clients through their deep knowledge of the advertising in the CPG space and their ability to pinpoint the smartest, most powerful strategies to solve client problems.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES - CURIOUS THINKERS WELCOME!

  • Eloquently articulate our views on brand building and digital business philosophies, keeping clients up to date on industry context
  • Actively establish and grow senior-level client relationships based on trust, and leverage these relationships in the development of business growth
  • Develop cutting-edge, insight-driven integrated marketing programs and brand experiences
  • Work collaboratively and speak the language of any client, partner agency, or internal teammate (across strategy, creative, media, and analytics) to make the complex simple.
  • Demonstrate strong team and corporate citizenship through involvement in company events, learning forums and other activities, serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintain a strong understanding of changes in the client’s industry and how customer needs are adapting, and developing relevant case studies on client businesses
  • Deliver strategic client presentations and providing recommendations that are concise, insightful and on point
  • Connect to broader agency intellectual capital and bringing best practices to client engagements
  • Own client financials – including forecasts, budgets and investments – and facilitate all required legal contracts
  • Develop team members through training and identify areas for growth – demonstrate openness to hiring non-traditional talent and build a team bench by actively recruiting a best-in-class workforce

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in Marketing/Advertising experience and leading integrated marketing programs
  • Demonstrated ability to grow existing client relationships
  • Strong analytic and strategic abilities
  • Refined understanding of the integration of marketing, creative, account planning, media, technology and supporting customer analytics
  • Extensive marketing knowledge across media, including Broadcast, Print, Digital, Mobile and Social
  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed
